Who's behind DREAS??

Morning Snow and Sonic Rush are absolutely gems with massive energy...quality.

Anyone know who Dreas is?? and what other aliases he does?

Artist : Dréas
Real Name : Andreas Lindell
Born : 06-04-1981
City : Gothenburg
Website :
Email :

Dréas, alias Andreas Lindell, began experimenting with computer sequencers and synthesizers back in 1993 when his father started to build up a little studio in their house. At first Dréas wasn't really interested in music more than others, he used more energy for hobbies like sports and had dreams of being in the Swedish national table tennis team.
In 1996 after 3 years of using sporadically his father's equipment, he listened to 'Children' by Robert Miles, with which he totally fell in love with.

Dréas interest in making music started to grow and at this point he began buying some new equipment.
After releasing his first remix of Droid by Razzia Project in 1999 with a friend under the guise Andy & Jock, he knew producing was what he wanted to do.
Still he didn't feel total satisfaction the way his tracks sounded.

During the years 2000-2001, Dréas made a few demos which were sent out to a lot of Swedish record labels, but soon he understood that this was the wrong market for this kind of music.
Late 2001, he started listening to trance music from The Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries and he felt that this was the kind of sound he (also) wanted to make.

The end of 2002 Dréas sent away his first demo with his 'new' sound and got instant positive feedback from a big label in Belgium, though ended up signing with Gesture Music after speaking to Gesture's A&R manager Misja Helsloot.
2003 will see Dréas' first vinyl release on First Second records (FIS 005) and you can expect some more beautiful works in the years to come!
