Gouryella meets Orchestre CyberFrance de Paris - Tenshi (version classique)

Has anyone heard this yet, quite an interesting piece. It's a short orchestral arrangement of Tenshi - Is this a commisioned work authorised by Ferry?

Also, does anyone [esp. French TA's] have more info on Orchestre Cyber-France de Paris?

I need!!!! I wonder what they mean with cyber orchestra though. Is it purely symphonic? Groovypants, share the wealth.

Purely symphonic [brass, strings, woodwinds, percus.] indeed... a pop-orchestral arrangement in a sense.
I am @ work now so I am totally useless, I will PM you tonight when I get home.

interesting , i think the synths and style of the gouryella track would be awesome if it was an human instrumental, bit risky tho !

tenshi sounds almost exactly like Vangelis - Light & Shadow.

Indeed, I assume Ferry and Tiesto sampled the main melody from Light & Shadow and added a few more chords for the resolution?

I first thought that this version classique was purely an arrangement for Light & Shadow, but it was'nt due to due to those Gouryella added chords. The orchestra even arranged the second melody [build-up] from Tenshi - the most interesting bit IMO.

Due to the lack of info, it seems that this is not a proper Gouryella release or something that Ferry would have produced/involved in some way???

Oh wells, cheers for the replies guys.

P.S. PM me if you want to hear

Groovepants, how long is your version? Mine is only 3:20 and I'd really really like a longer version

I love it. Bar the percussion, which I think is a little too much at times. I really like the harmonic progression and the cadences in this tune. Listening to a symphonic peformance of it practically proves the connection trance has to minimalism, the arrangement is pretty well done and you can really hear the harmonic process of repetition that Tijs and Ferry used to make this tune.
