Well I actually e-mailed the mod espcially to ask him to let me register asap, and he did, which I was thankful for.
He obviously saw that it was a nice gesture as I explained to him why I wanted it done, there are different genres in music, but essentially it's all dance/electronic music, that was the whole point.
I didn't realise that trance was so divided that if I posted something related to music, and espcially all the people who I met who were from Trance Addict, that becuase I/they are from a certain place that it wasn't welcome.. I had no idea that people from T.A, were so divided from others, regardless, when I went to WEMF, and stayed at the TA camp...was that not a representive of what you all stand for?
I got the jist from your first reply, no problem.
I'll just go back here to running my website, running my record labels and working at the pressing plant I work at ( we press a lot of trance here too, www.acmevinyl.com ) and with any luck you will realize what the message of what we do is about. It's about sharing...maybe the same time a mod takes this down.
Swamper, thanks for adding me so fast, I am sorry I upset your members, I just had a ball at WEMF, I didn't realise ...
And from what I remember of WEMF..there were people from all over, it was a universal love thing...actually I work with the guy who started the whole thing a few years ago. |
No no, you misunderstand. House-related topics are perfectly welcome on TA, we may be called tranceaddict but you'll find there are everything from houseaddicts to dnbheads and everything in between on here. The forum I linked to is merely a local forum which is intended for people living in a specific area (in this case the GTA) to congregate and discuss issues that pertain specifically to them. Your post was a perfect example since you were talking about a Toronto event and thus my suggestion to try the local forum was only intended, as Sand Leaper described, to see your message reach the most receptive audience. Furthermore, TA is a rather large forum and it's necessary to subdivide the board into appropriate categories simply due to the sheer volume of posts. Hope this clears things up.
