Dunno Trance in Iraq???

so our "wonderful" president has decided that my Army reserve unit needs to be deployed to the "wonderful" country of Iraq, like now.
I got orders over the holiday week, Dec. 15th I'm flyin back to Hawaii to prepare for lovely 12 month deployment to that hot-@$$ sandbox of a country. "Yaaaay".

So has anyone here been there, heard of any trance scene, ect?
I imagine I'll hafta get an Ipod or something to have all my trance albums and mp3's with me, I figure that will help pass the time.

and i SO had plans for New Years in Vegas, all you f--kers have a nice holiday(s)

~Bryce

^ not a happy camper

If you want some tunes to take with you - you can go to www.djinfinity.com and download 4 CDs worth of mixes for free.

Also - i just have to say...good luck, and personally i really appreciate the sacrafice that you have to make here. Be safe, and come back soon

Peace,

Andy

well if you are getting out there soon I don't think the weather is too bad. It is the summer that is unbearable....130-140's n such.

I highly doubt that there will be a scene there, so an ipod with tunes would be your best bet. and hopefully you can get online periodically to keep updated...lord knows trance songs have a life span of only a few weeks. well to some people they do.

and my first glass o bubbly here in vegas on new years will be to you. I am sure it will be just as fun in Iraq as on the strip here.

.
good luck out there

eh, yeah I've heard from a buddy who's been there for half a year that 130 is the norm temperature during the summer months, but it gets down to a pleasant 110 at nite, and air conditioning just aint high on the US military command's priority list.

and i was just realizing... i'm not gonna get to drink, rave, and most importantly, have hot nasty sex, for a looong time , no frigin way i'm messin around with them Iraqi girls, she might decide to pull that suicide bomber/assasinator crap after i'm a bit distracted.

Incidentally, I've planned a trip to Vegas next week, I have a bit of money saved up that I'm gonna blow before I'm off, go out with a *BANG!*, tis what I say . So I'll be drunk/partyin/dancin on the strip all next week with a few buddies, anyone out there is quite welcome to let me know and we'll become walking inebriates

nice, I will be a mile away from ya finishing all my final papers. but after...eehh, I don't even know when my last one is due, but definitly by friday I am gonna get so hammered I'll prolly wake up in cali.

but thats cool ya get to get out and prolly get laid before ya go to the real desert. oh and if iraq is anything like egypt you won't be allowed to hump teh ladies. My buddy was there for a few weeks with the reservers and the locals all tell you, "If you have sex with our women, we kill you.". talk about conservative.

Honestly now, would you want to party with a bunch of iraqi's? I dont think pvd visits that country much. Though they should!

Good luck and kill us some rag heads.
