Hey I need a little help
Some friends and I were thinking about heading up to Montreal during the first weekend in August. My cousin was telling me it is a holiday weekend as well up there, so there should be alot going on. I was wondering if anyone knew of any specific events going on that weekend etc. as well as if we should come up for thursday nite, or friday nite...Thanks alot

And also, if anyone knows of a place we could stay that is within walking distance to where everything is going on, I'd really appreciate it. The best thing I found was a hostel for $15 a person per night and each room did have its own bathroom. That doesnt sound all that bad. Thanks again!

First of all , try to find a hotel in Downtown , DO NOT take a room somewhere else , because all the good things in Montreal are in Downtown . There are not special event for the first week of august as i know , all i am goin' to tell you is to check Club Sona & Club Aria , the best after hours & trance clubs of Montreal . All the other clubs here play R&B , Salsa etc ... if u have more questions i'm here

Thanks! Is there a specific nite on which these clubs are better. Like in nyc Sound Factory is supposed to be better on Saturdays, and Twilo Fridays were always amazing...any other info about Montreal and what to do and what not would be great...Thanks again

hey, so which club is better on which night for good trance? sona or aria? which club is bigger? what's the crowd like in each of them? i'll be in montreal as well for the august long weekend and wanna know where to go.

I've never been to Aria
I've been to Sona only one time but i really enjoyed it , because PvD & Max Graham were there . I can't tell you if it's really big or not , i'm only 18 and i am not a big clubber . But compared to other non trance clubs i've been in , Sona is big . The best night are friday and saturday
