Mate this question gets asked a few times here and I don't think anyone has answered it yet. As far as getting free choir samples off the net, I'm not aware of anyplace (although I'm sure they do exist). Have you tried synthesizing your own. Most good synths are capable of making this type of sound.

i have a bank of choirs for absynth which u can have if you want, they are all fuckin terrible lol. best way is to tweak a couple of them, u need about 5 oscillators on the go to get a decent sound, then just pull the mid eq out of them and then go from there, gimme your email address ill send you the .glo

I'll assume you're using Fruityloops or some other VSTable program...

First, get the Fruity Soundfont player. Or do whatever's necessary to get the program to deal with Soundfonts.

Next, go to hammersound.net You're bound to find what you're looking for. Try the Mellotron choirs, they're a bit tinny but I love 'em.

I was looking for a review on remix for spectrasonics atmosphere in the remix mag and came upon this

http://www.spectrasonics.net/symphonyvoices.html

Scott G of Deepsky stated that they used a lot of choir sounds from this cd to produce "In Silico." The retail price is $499
