I'll single out some:
Life is Beautiful (ITA)- as the only movie I ever cried to.. sincerely a stunning movie..
then you have those ahhhh-life-is-good movies a la Amelie (FRA), Behind the Sun (BRA), Cinema Paradiso (ITA), Mediterraneo (ITA/GRE), The Good Thief (USA/FRA), Amarcord (ITA), Children of Heaven (IRN), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (TAW)...
This is impossible.. SO MANY.. I'm sitting here and so many movies pouring in:
Time for Drunken Horses (IRN), East-West (RUS), Before the Rain (FRYM), Amores Perros (MEX), La haine (FRA), The Thief (RUS), La Dolce Vita (ITA), Cabaret Balkan (YU), Journey of Hope (SWZ)
ALMODOVAR - enough said
The Italians: Fellini, Benigni, Tornatore, Bertolucci..
