Well...there are a number of record cleaners on the market that are anti static. However, if you use any of these and you still hear static, it's probably not static and more than likely it's just a bad pressing in which case there's not much you can do about that.

well I myself just happen to have a vinyl press lying around.. =)

Damn..thats what Id buy if I won the lottery....
