Unhappy Sonic Foundry Sound Forge n00b question

Hey,

I bet any1 knows this... I am having some trouble converting a part of vocals from one BPM to another, the problem is, If I process them thru the ReCycle I dont get a clear good sample back. I heard I could do that with SoundForge... problem now is, I found the 'EDIT TEMPO' button, put the bpm in there, but now i gotta change it, but guess what, I don't know how... can any1 help me out?

thanx!

sounds like you're trying to timestrech vocals? for that i use either Time Factory or Acid Pro 4.0

Time Factory is a nifty little prog where you simply load the sample you want to timestretch, enter in the original BPM and then enter the BPM you want to stretch it to, and bam! you're set.

With Acid Pro it's pretty much the same ordeal, except you manually find out what BPM it is by using the beatmapper and then after that you just change the tempo of the track and you're set.
