I'm confused...

I was browsing someones files on Soul Seek and ran across a sub folder (in his Tiesto folder) titled "Forbidden Paradise" The files include:

Forbidden Paradise 1: Garden Of Evil =[1:14:53]=
Forbidden Paradise 3: The Quest For Atlantis =[1:16:19]=
Forbidden Paradise 4: High As A Kite =[1:14:53]=
Forbidden Paradise 5: Arctic =[1:12:17]=
Forbidden Paradise 6: Valley Of Fire =[1:13:57]=
Forbidden Paradise 7: Deep Forest =[1:13:37]=
Forbidden Paradise 8: Mystic Swamp =[1:13:49]=
Forbidden Paradise 9: Waves =[1:14:02]=
Forbidden Paradise 10: Djungii2 =[1:14:24]=
Forbidden Paradise 11: Face The Wild CD1 =[2:58:33]=
Forbidden Paradise 11: Face The Wild CD2 =[1:14:48]=

Are these real? I don't recall Discogs having "Forbidden Paradise" under Tiesto's name....can anyone unsolve this mystery for me???

He did mix those CDs, but only volumes 3-8 (I think). Look them up on discogs, they're all there. Some good early work from Tiesto.

To me they sound QUITE A BIT different than normal Tiesto we are all used to. It's a different kind of sound I think. Not so different as with Oakenfold and that one album (the name escapes me) but different none the less.

Check the above link... it's the record company that produces/sells the Forbidden Paradise series. They're all mixed trance CDs... Tiesto did the mixing for SOME of them... not all. He's not listed as the artist responsible... like... it's not listed as DJ Tiesto - Forbidden Paradse 1,2,3,etc... it's just Various Artists - Forbidden Paradise 1,2,3,etc. And Tiesto's name is just listed as the person who mixed the tracks (on the few CDs that he mixed). Probably just some record company trying to compete with other series like Global Underground, etc. Tho I've listened to a few and they're not that bad... similar to the Magik series... just keep in mind that NOT ALL OF THEM WERE MIXED BY TIESTO.
