my nickname is goodnet of course I created it when signing up for the MSN Internet Gaming Zone (really the first thing i ever signed up for on the internet) around 3-4 years ago when first getting the net. Back in 1984 when I started on the commodore 64 pirate scene I needed an alias... so I chose 'Swamp Thing' ... From then I started to trade with people in Norway & Sweden by mail with padded envelopes with 5 1/4" floppies inside I must say I got some kickass imports that I'd release here in North America.. I was the euro guy... guess I still sorta am with all this trance stuff now.. hehe

.....When I got on IRC in the mid 90's EFnet IRC limited the size of your alias so I was forced to use Swamper....... Others I've used: Swampuh, SwaMP3r, Swampsta...

I've got quite a lot nicks, but this one is the first one I used, and still the one I use most. Actually I hate it now, but it's not very tactical to use different nicks at different places, cuz you always forget which nick you use where. I came up with it the first time I used internet, signing up for some chatbox. I really had no idea what to choose, so I just placed my fingers on the keyboard and hit a few combinations. Eventually this was the result.

The other nicks I use (in places that don't need signing up and stuff) are mostly from the game Final Fantasy 7 (still the best game of 'em all I think...), just because they sound nice. An example is "BaHaMuT."

When I got really into trance music, I also really really wanted to be a Dj... My friends joked around and called me Dj Scoobz (for stupid reasons), I was like no way am I gonna be called Dj Scoobz what if I become famous and need a name..so I made up Dj Furee, now my friends still make fun of me and call me Dj Puree, but I think Furee is a cool alias, now all I need is to become a dj, that's the hard part
