please help. need exact measurments on a cd cover and backcover on photoshop
i'm jjst starting photoshop. i want to make a cd front cover and a back cover with the two tabs on the left and right that you fold so you can see on the side of the cd case. what dimensions and inches do i have to set it up on so i can guarantee a good measurment

Do you not have a ruler + CD case/insert? If the answer is "yes" I find that hard to believe.

I don't have the exact measurements, but make sure that you increase the resolution on your image before you make it (to something 166 or higher). Otherwise, if you print it at 72dpi, its going to be pixelated. I learned this the hard way quite a few years ago after I designed a greally great CD cover.

The front side measures 121.5×121.5 mm (4.78×4.78") and the back side is 117.75×150 mm (4.64×5.91") with 6 mm (0.24") wide edges so the "real" back part is 117.75×138 mm (4.64×5.43") and the edges 117.75×6 mm (4.64×0.24").
