so who came to our shores this year and rocked your world ? I would have to say that James Holden was hands down above and beyond the rest of the pack ! His set beautifuly combined trance elements with a progressive sound that will stay in my mind forever. Other top notch sets included James Zabiela, j00f, Armin and PvD (he actually killed it believe it or not).

why do they have to be internationals?
most of the locals here have rocked it for me more than any international has

Howells @ Room, closely followed by Seaman @ TT.
And if we're going for local DJs, I dunno. Let's try Kasey Taylor @ GK: anyone who keeps a room full of about 20 people rocking for 1.5 hours after daybreak must be doing something right.
Im guessing Infusion this friday will take 2nd place

Armin 4 hours at Gas and Paul van Dyk have been the standouts for me
Honourable mentions go to:
Dumonde @ Transmission
Marco V @ Godskitchen
Locally, much respect goes to Sample Gee, Diggs & Morro, Cam, Stama, Mangler & Strangis, though all the TA's I've heard spin have impressed me

Best Local set was Adam Jace at Halcyon ! Opened with Dirty Sticky floors and dropped numerous other bombs notably Kate bush vs infusion - Running up that hill and Mogwai - U know Y (Starecase mix). Mixing and set structure I thought was second to none. Mentions also to Cam and Stama who also impressed.

For me Armin at TT in melb by a long long way. Just loved every second of it. I saw James Holden as well and he was amazing. James Holden was definitely best set here this year.
