Infusion Interview

get to know our heros from down under!

Read interview

quote:
What was it like working with Adam Freeland on his new album, and what are your thoughts on the album?

”He's a control freak and a pain in the arse. I pity any musician who has the misfortune to share a studio with him. The album is top class, just a shame about the so-called "artist".”

Biting the hand that feeds them. I recall that Adam Freeland signed infusion to marine parade in the beginning that was their start. Yes, they have stated the obvious tho, Adam Freeland is a control freak and in the interview for ivibes with him next year, I'll ask him that question, if I get the chance. To be fair, it was Adam Freeland's solo album technically and he was running the show. Then again, it's not the first I've heard of him being a control freak, lots of producers are known for it. Tho at least they speak their mind, tho I doubt freeland gives a rat's ass what they think. He paid them for their work and basically has released their stuff on his label.

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. - Timothy Leary

Saw Infusion and Freeland recently here in TO. Infusion stole the show IMO, and I think many who were there would agree. Their conflict with Freeland sounds like typical musician ego conflict.
