technics problem

i bought second hand technics...the problem is that one deck has a lower right channel.if i move the cables underneath the deck the sounds changes and it even stops playing.
suppose the rca cable needs change..where can i do this ?

any authorized technics repair shop should be able to... or you could prob. order the part and do it on yer own.

check you're local gear shop. if you search enough on the internet, you should be able to find the manual for the tech 12's that shows how to assemble them (i remember seeing this before) which also should show you how to fix them. you can try going to technics website (i think it is panasonic in the states) and see if they have a list of authorized repair places or if you can order parts from there. i know of a couple here in chicago, but that would be of no use to you.
