this definitely should've been in the top 5 tracks of 2003 | It is definetely a good track, better than most of the wheel-work stuff that is getting voted on IMO .. it's got a very airy and open feeling to it. vocals are ace and it's worth noting that they don't make any sense really but within the context of the song. It makes an impression on me as a bit surreal, which contributes to the songs atmosphere or "vibe" if you will. Overall, a very nice piece of work by JXl and Infusion
Faces sheltered as they are
Finished counting all the stars
Feel the gears wind down again
Another paycheck to cash in.
May the Lord have flesh and bones
Leave you some to call your own
As we slowly feel our way
Through another shapeless day
Up the hill to sow some seed
Nostalgia's warmth is all we need
Us disappointments turn to steam
We're superheroes, in our dreams
Throw the radio up high
Watch us drown out half the sky
Synaesthesia Coloured Blue
Aquaman knows what to do..

thirst that once more the dark marvel of dreams... |

dude...lol... i don't think those are correct, although there are like 4 versions floating out there. this one makes most sense.
Days seem shorter than they are,
Finished counting all the stars
Feel the years wind down again,
Another paycheck to cash in.
May the Lord of flesh and bones
Leave you some to call your own,
As we slowly feel our way
Through another shapeless day
Up the hill to sow some seed,
Nostalgia's warmth is all we need
Past disappointments turn to steam,
We're superheroes in our dreams
Throw the radio up high,
Watch it drown out half the sky
Synaesthesia colored blue,
Aquaman knows what to do...
it's not really surreal, it's talking about aging.
the original tune has 2 more verses.
