After first witnessing the absolutely amazing sound and light experience that the club provided for last year's massive Destiny NYE, we couldn't wait to take all the good vibes and make them even better for 2003/04!
Without a doubt, Viva provides one of the best - if not the absolute best sound, lighting and laser show in Southern Ontario and we now have a new element to add to the mix - Viva has just completed the installation of a state of the art Catalyst Visual System valued at over $60,000 that promises to complete the AV journey with absolutely stellar mind-altering visual displays throughout the club.
Knowing the massive scale of the event this year we felt it necessary to arrange for the services of the very highly trained Star Security group - the same company that made the entry gate at WEMF2003 run so smoothly this past summer. Star has doubled the number of front door staff to ensure vastly quicker entry for both ticket holders and those buying at the door. As well, all entry and exit points will be controlled to ensure that proper entry procedures are followed by all patrons. This will not only improve the safety for all attending our show but also ensure that overcrowding is not an issue and everyone can dance comfortably.
We want to create the ultimate NYE experience for EVERYONE in attendance and to add to the whole experience we have arranged for a much larger and fully heated circus big top as the second room. Sound and lights in this second area will be provided Vertex Sound, the same company responsible for the powerful yet clear sound in Viva's main room - so be prepared for an aural experience in both areas.
Add it all up and you have the BEST DEAL IN TOWN for New Year's eve - the best sound, best lights, 25 watt full spectrum laser system, 4 international headlining acts, free giveaways to the first 1500 through the door, intense visuals, a midnight blast off with confetti cannons and fireworks, all your friends - and YOU!
DIRECTIONS
SHUTTLE BUS INFORMATION
Return shuttle bus service to the event will be provided from Finch Subway Station in North York for $5. Just come out of the subway stop and look for the big yellow bus from Parkinson Coach Lines. We will have a member of our security team there to help organize the loading of the buses which will run from 8:30PM to 7:30AM. You only need to pay at Finch - the return trip is free.
HOW TO GET THERE BY CAR
Parking is FREE all night and there are tons of spots!
If you are coming from anywhere SOUTH of Steeles:
Take highway 401 to the DVP/404 interchange. Take the 404 North from the 401 to the Steeles/Woodbine exit. If you continue going straight North as you take this exit you will be on Woodbine Avenue. Take Woodbine Avenue North until you cross over Highway 407. 8261 Woodbine is your first right after the highway and there is a massive parking lot containing a Costco retail location and the club is on the right hand side as you pull in.
If you are coming from anywhere NORTH of Steeles:
Exit at Highway 7 East, turn right on Woodbine Avenue and travel South to 8261 Woodbine Ave. On your left there will be a massive parking lot containing a Costco retail location and the club is on the right hand side as you pull in.
