My La New Years - Giant And Ferry
WELL I just got back into FL @ 5am this morning! My 5 day trip was blast but the first two nites were absolutely amazing! Giant NYE Venture was completely insane, over 10k people running through a massive and gorgeous hotel (The Westin Bonaventure in dtwn LA) , they threw such a awesome party i have no idea why a hotel this nice would let that many clubbers/ravers/partyers overrun their hotel for 48 hrs of nonstop parties (check in nye to 2am on the 2nd) started off with oakey spinning from 11-1am in the main ballroom, i was pretty messed up but he spun a great set, u guys wouldnt believe me but he didnt play any cheese, i was completely shocked! then Sandra Collins came on, omg she was insane, her set was amazing, i never wanted to leave the floor. she would not stop playing, the last hour and half it seem like she was going to close her set about 15 times and then she would flip the switch and put us right back into some banging beats. some little dj mush have gotten screwed because sandra played a extra hour and closed the ballroom at 5am. sandra got on the mike at the end and said she had to stop cause the fire marshall was here, then she was like, wait i was in the middle of a track, F-that and played two more songs! omg! i then watch danny howells and lee burridge tag team to like 7:30, went up to the room, crashed, woke up and went to the pool/outside deck party at like noon-it felt like i was on the space terrace but it was much bigger and surroonded by tall buildings in the middle of LA - then nite came and we went Spundae @circus for Ferrys five hour set, we get there at 9:20 and i look to the dj booth and ferry is already on! set was 9-2, didnt know they closed that early, great set! best ive seen him, Really liked the club, the dj booth is basically on the floor, you cant get any closer to him, its like he is in the crowd- makes for some incredible energy. i have some pics and some short vids of the event- a couple came out good with the audio but others did not. got to talk to him after the show told him my miami tas were looking forward to saturday - check my avatar, the pic is insanely too up close thanks to bimbo who took it for me and i look horrible ........nice to be back in FL Happy New Years! my FLTAs see you soon '
