but seriously.. how hard is it???? we need that freaking NEWBIE thread... NNOOWWWW

and it's NOT the program that make's the music... it's YOU

the fruity users here.. like me will tell you to go get fruityloops.. the reason suers will tell you to get reason.. the buzz users buzz etc.... etc.....

so use the magical search function and search around... then go download a demo of the proggies... or the full program like buzz that is free.. and try out and see what you like the most

The sticky threads that are up right now kind of suck, first of all they are huge and poorly organized. Perhaps someone should go in and delete all the useless posts, or maybe pull all the good info together into one single post (I would be willing to help). Second, the titles are not very informative. Third, some of them were started a pretty long time ago, and are out of date.

Many people find search engines difficult to use, and they would rather ask an actual person their question. If there are some good sticky threads saving the best info from previous posts, newbies are less likely to ask the same question over and over again.

Anyone know which of the moderators is in charge of sticky threads?

King but really...

why don't you simply GOOGLE...
I got a TON of info just from places that sell them... Tweakheadz and Musician's Friend and Synthzone, etc...
They all lay each of them out pretty nicely and review them in great detail.
Im in the same boat, and believe me...before you come hear with questions you should have a clearer understanding about what product offerings there are...and demo some first. Then ask away...
