Not my kinda style, but i realy liked the perc and bass . I think you should use an extra melody in the breakdown, it sounds very dull there cause you'r using only one melody.

Not sure why everyone is getting so down on this one. Sometimes simplicity is the key.
While I may be new to producing I have been a DJ a hell of a long time (About as long as you have been alive LT, without wishing to sound patronising). I beleive that this track would definately work on the dancefloor.
It has a good energy about it, and besides Marco V seems to be flavour of the month with a lot of clubbers at the moment so why not.

From a production point of view I would perhaps try to make the lead really shreek and stand out so that it almost becomes offensive. That would give this track a more 'Murder was the bass' type quality. (Ok so I'm mad... hehe)

Although I'm not a fan of using MP3s burned to CD. I am playing a smaller venue this Friday in London, so with your permission I would like to play this in my set. Let me know your thoughts?

There is a good chance the set will be recorded too so I understand if you don't want me to play it.

Comments as I listen:

- Grabs the attention right from the start with that awesome kick; dope! Good percussions too.

- Bassline is pretty good, not usually a big fan of the off-beat bassline but it works here. Could possibly be turned up a little louder.

- I like that hook.

- Neat minimal breakdown at first, really like that lowpass filter.

- Not sure that I like the lead sound all that much that comes in during the breakdown, but it's definitely pretty driving with the beat.

- Could definitely see this working on the dancefloor. This is the sort of shit I love playing towards the beginning of my set.


Overall I loved this. Dope assed minimal tech-trance that I'm sure would work very well on the dancefloor. I'll be giving this some plays over the coming month. The only thing I could possibly suggest is to bring out the bassline some more, and possibly throw one more bass pattern on top of the whoomp whoomp bass you have right now.
