Now I'm gonna have to wait for another inter-dimensional apocalypse to get telepathic powers. I tried using them, and they didn't work.

thats because YOU DONT EXIST. YOU NEVER DID. The only reason I am able to communicate with you is because you exist in my brain somewhere. You wouldnt BELIEVE how much effort it takes to hold this reality together in my mind. Of course, with just a little more concentration I could actually bring you all into existence. But then it would be 2004 trying to exist in a universe that hasnt created a calendar. Time no longer means anything. Besides all that, your brains are not adapted to the full force that the universe now exerts. I am afraid you would be killed in the exact instant you began to exist, and they would make the slinky kink.
