Oakenfold played in L.A. @ Giant... (outdoors) i really doubt a radio show broadcasted him, and people in L.A. are a lil behind on the dance scene so they probably didn't even think about recording him.

Yes. Oakenfold played in LA, INDOORS. It was a huge hotel party...20,000 peeps and 5 ballrooms of good DJs. His set that night was a disaster of trainwrecks. You don't wanna look for that set. However, we were also treated to Lee Burridge, Danny Howells, and Sandra Collins who absolutely fucking rocked it! Danny Howells and Lee Burridge had a 10 hour marathon tag team set going on...and let me tell you it was the most AMAZING set I had ever heard. It was 11 am new years day and Lee Burridge was just planting everyone with tune after tune. The entire place was still groovin' strong in the morning. Also got a chance to meet Lee himself. Great nice guy!

i was in the dj booth the entire night at god's - there was no recording going on for either our set or armin's.
