Yeah, not only the song itself, but it happens when u ar mastering too, ears get used to the frequencies. Thats what they call "tired ears".
May happen whenever u get too much time working, without refreshing your reference of good sound, u "shift" your concept of normality towards what u r doing, when when u get fresh ears again, u notice the diference u coudnt bfor, like Mikey said.
Refresh your ears constantly by listening to some songs that hav similar styles or sounds with the one u r working, so u dont get this shifting in your perception, and AWAYS listen to it next day.
Dun forget too that if u ar sleepy, tired, drunk, or whatever other altered state of councious, your levels of perceptions change and u can feel music diferently, especialy in terms of speed, but also in frequencies and such
