I presume when you say "keys" you will be meaning the note of the bassline etc when you are transitioning between your two tracks.Out of key notes can be your worst enemy,or,your best friend.Lets say we had two Tunes with the basslines in the same key,As an example here are two tracks as your first tutorial:
Binary finary: 1999 (Gouryella remix)
Dj tiesto:Sparkles (Transa remix)
Now those two tunes mixed in any order to each other make a gorgeous mix.If you are going to mix from binary finary,Drop sparkles in at The point where the main riff finishes for the last time, then blend slowly to sparkles, and when binary finary's beat ends, kill all of its bass and center sparkle's bass. The bassline of the second track will drop in and it will sound like the same song. Here,i went and done the mix on my decks for ya there,so you can see what i mean, ill post another example of an "out of key" mix in about an hour. And yeah i know the beatmatching should have been alot better, but you get the idea.
