I should've known

Writing this as I listen. Don't mean to be a offensive, just gunna be honest.

Sounds like gouryella @ tha start, which can't hurt. Interesting Pads, bad chord changes tho, starting to sound quite annoying. Skipping on now, by ears are hurting.

Bass Is well too loud, and completely distorted. Can't hear any percussion either. Might be cos of low quality mp3 or poor monitors.

Now the drums are in I quite like it, got a tribal feeling to it. Do need to sort out those bad chord changes tho.

I like the piano bit, but the funny pads are back aswell. I like the voice, sounds wicked!!! Excellent recreation, (tho try and be different). Bass is well recieved, tho extremely simple.

I quite like the idea and the flow of it, just that the sound quality is low. Didn't like any of the intro.

Cheers for the input. The track is not mine but my mates. He done it with another guy. The big long intro was the other guys input and the last 3 mins was my mates input. The sound quality is poor due to the cheap PC/equipment and the bit rate of the mp3. The voice is my mates he wrote the song kinda for me really cos he went wi my ex n ppl feel out the usual. He made this ages ago n I think its pretty damn good n he has a talent so Ive been saying for him to let ppl here it.

Argh... okay, maybe it's the bad sound quality but this really hurts my ears. The drums are just... ouch!

And the repetition... oh, the repetition... the same damn pads go on and on and no change at any point... the piano break saves it a bit but it comes in WAY too late and sounds too dry overall.

You should cut the 6 minutes from the beginning and expand the last bit... I skipped through the entire first 7 minutes, it really got on my nerves.

I agree with what Nik is saying here. The first half of the song is far too repetitive. If I wasn't planning on passing a comment I probably would have tuned out before the vocals kicked in.

So my advice is to base your track around the vocal section at the end, and sort out the chord change.
