I have noticed that there is alot of "whos your favorite dj, mix, album,...... ect topics poping up, making the hole forum look like an over grown arse!

How about we take all the songs we consider to be "our favorites" and set up a web page where you can select a few of your songs from "the" list and produce some statistics to show what we consider to be the best.

This way we can all discover and share our musical tastes.

If this has already been done then forget i even opened my mouth.

kinda like the DJ List that caused so much controversy awhile back. it certainly is a good idea, although i am too incompetent or lazy to do it. peez...

This is actually not that difficult to do... the only problem lies in the input stage.. When you guys enter your tracks and stuff then we don't want

Only way around this would be a screen with like 5 entries.. within those 5 entries you can enter a max of 5 but maybe less tracks.. whatever..

Then you click to 'CHECK' each entry.. Each entry would then be cross-referenced by substring with the database both by artist & by track name..

Then you're sent to another screen that has both your entries and any possible matches... if your entry isn't on the list of possible matches then you click a box and do that for all the other tracks as well.. submit again and boom it goes into the database along with your rating...

then others can rate it too/post comments on it.

This is a monster in disguise and is similar to what Mindbender was talking about earlier... perhaps something for me to do tinker with in the next couple of months..

Hehe a while ago I burned my girlfriend a cd and she wanted to know what tracks were on it.... track 1.... For an Angel..... I told her, and she wrote down "Foriegn Angel." Then I decided it would be quicker if I just wrote it out
