As we enter the year 2004, we look back and reflect on what was a fantastic, hectic yet exciting 2003 for us. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved with us and has influenced Koolwaters in some form. Musically this year, we have set out to be purveyors of quality electronic dance music crossing all genres from funky house, house, trance, hard-trance, hardstyle, techno and breaks. Our list of artistes ranges from the globe trotting band, The Chemical Brothers, to Sasha, Ferry Corsten, Junkie XL, Stanton Warriors, Junior Sanches, Tall Paul, Mark E.G., Marco V, Scot Project, Anne Savage, John 00 Flemming, Fergie and Mauro Picotto. Unfortunately, we can't name everyone as over 1000 DJ’s have played for us in 2003, but you all know who you are.

This year alone Koolwaters has been involved with events in Taunton, Yeovil, Weston S-Mare, Plymouth, Truro, Exmouth, Bristol, Swansea, Cardiff, Tenby, Havordfordwest, Hereford, Manchester, Cheltenham, London, Brighton, Salisbury, Guernsey, Jersey, Madeira, China, Hong Kong, Ibiza, Turkey, Egypt, Portugal, Canada, Bosnia, Serbia, Ukraine, Kenya and South Africa.

The highlight of the year would have to be Koolwaters/ Urban Bug Festival in Turkey, during the summer. More than 15,000 people attended the festival on the Turkish coastline, Coca-
Cola and Smirnoff Ice were the sponsors and more than 100 DJ’s played. With headlining acts like the Chemical Brothers and Sasha, and the night being broadcasted on CNN Asia, MTV Asia, it was what we had all been working towards.

Plans for next year already confirmed include Koolwaters and The Brunel Rooms- Swindon, The Cross- London, HoneyClub- Brighton, Tranzaction- Truro, Bionic- Cardiff, Dance Academy- Plymouth, The Crystal Rooms - Hereford, Residency - Cheltenham, The Duke Box - Istanbul and many more.

We will also be returning to our spiritual home The Wharf - Taunton in 2004, after an absence of 6 months, due to our overseas commitments. Our events are going to include more new local talent, more production, more top name DJ’s and more parties!!
The date for our first Koolwaters HQ event of 2004 is March 5th and this event will see the much loved LISA LASHES cutting the ribbon to kick-start the proceedings.

Well as you can see 2003 has been a non-stop action packed year for the Koolwaters camp and we can happily say with great enthusiasm and interest that as we enter 2004 we are well and truly “up for it” this year.
So until we meet again on the dancefloor, all the best from the Koolwaters family.
