Re: Political Quiz
Same here.
| quote: | | Liberals favor trial lawyers over doctors |
That's really hard for me to believe, as it goes completely against common sense. Lying is part of the job description for most lawyers, whereas most doctors care about helping people, are honest, with the exception of a select few (like several of Limbaugh's or one of JFK's infamous docs) who will give you whatever you want.
| quote: | | Whose political views do you consider more extreme, those of (former) Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders or the Rev. Pat Robertson? |
This question seems almost asinine to me lol. Personally I think Mr. Robertson should join wacko Jacko in a mental hospital ward. I think you'd have to be Reagan himself to pick Ms. Elders, although the man doesn't even know his own name now sadly. As a point of fact, Ms. Reagan now supports stem-cell research, leaving behind the absurd belief that
this:

this:

This is the "worst" (BEST!) thing Joycelyn ever said:
| quote: | | Joycelyn Elders replied, "masturbation is something that is a part of human sexuality, and is a part of something that perhaps should be taught". |
And, she was fired for it because of pressure from Pat Robertson and Co.! *Sigh* If Bill had only taken her advice lol. At least liberal politicians get laid though. :P

| quote: |
20. Graphic pornography should be banned.
Agree Disagree |
Nixon and Reagan both appointed comities to examine the effects of porn on society. Through their extensive research, they found that the only harm that it could possibly cause was perhaps a papercut from turning the pages of Hustler or Playboy. Armed with this compelling evidence that porn is indeed harmful to those who view it, Reagan commanded his Attorney General and justice department to begin prosecuting pornographers on vaguely constructed "obscenity" charges. Larry Flynt may be a sleazebag, but I believe his right to publish filth should be protected speach. Ultimately he was vindicated. Hmm maybe I do trust lawyers more than I though haha?!? (Not really)
So basically, from what I can gather, it comes down to this:
Would you support and vote for the guys and gals who want to take away your right to fap? Or, would you support and vote for those who believe that your sacred right to fap shall never be infringed? The choice seems a logical one to me, though it's a shame the founding fathers didn't include a fappage clause in the Bill of Rights.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must go park my car in Ms. Reagan's garage.
