celebrating chinese new year in chinatown is one of those things i should do as a chinese person. it's almost like NYE in times square as a new yorker. i haven't done either

u know there doin the parade this weekend also and for the next 2 weekends after that if u wanna check it out. yea chinese new year is good but not as good as it used to be because the city runs it now. they dont let people use fireworks anymore . that was a tradition the stores throwing firecrackers at the dragon.
