Tranc3, if you have a track that you feel is release worthy, never post a hi quality sample of it on the internet (or in this forum). That's why you'll notice a lot of stuff in here is either 96 or 128 kbs mp3s or even just a couple min clip of the track.
If you release a high quality version on the net, everyone can burn it to CD and play it out and the label can lose money..etc etc.
Remember, labels aren't just looking for tracks, they're looking for talent too. If you posted a killer song on the net, they might say we don't want to use it (for that reason)...but we'd like to hear something else you can do. So yes, if you post a 'sample' clip, you can still get released - stay away from full length 192 clips though if you really really like the tune.
