Paul Simon - Transitions

Hi guys, just did my new CD yesterday, and as usual i always put it up for download.

The CD starts off with some old house tunes, but they are tunes that set the tempo perfectly for the CD, and i felt had to be included. It then goes tribal, before turning to the real dark and pounding ( Digweed style ) progressive. Then the last 2 tracks are 2 of the most beautiful tunes around at the minute.

Paul Simon - Transitions

1. Soul Rebels – The revolution will not be televised
2. Praise Cats – Shined on me ( Skylark Dub )
3. Kings of Tomorrow – Dreams
4. Fluke – Slid
5. De Nada – De La Musica
6. Peter Bailey – Tonight ( Maurelle & Fauvrelle mix )
7. Fingerfest Inc – Chemical Whore
8. Perc – Ice Cream for Kenton
9. First Life – Be one of us
10. Three Sixty – Body Music
11. Greg Benz – Dilation
12. Flash Brothers - Amen

Download the cd here..

Please wait about 4 hours from when this was posted before downloading please as there was a slight problem with that version as it skipped a bit and needs replacing. Cheers

Upload is at 128kbps

Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. edit:// it's an iced coffee

Edit:/ WOWW.. what tune just ended at around 56:00 ?!?!It's just a woman sort of chanting, really sexy..

AWESOME !!! I'm guessing theres about two more tunes left? So far, it's been delicious.. thanks for posting this !! I would go crazy on the dance floor if someone spun a set like this at a venue here it's insane.. I love the tribal feel throughout

ok .. finished. Strictly from a listening perspective (know nothing of mixing skills/technicalities) the last couple songs just didn't fit. The whole set for me was strictly physical.. something I could dance my ass off to..felt sexy and then the last couple songs seemed a bit like you were saying goodbye, getting emotional, cheesy kinda sorta.. I don't need "good-bye" "fluffy" tunes at the end when the whole thing has been deep, hard, dark and banging from the very beginning.. but hey, that's just my point of view. B/c of the tunes I felt like an jaguar in an African jungle, then towards the end I felt like a pink unicorn, eating skittles

That was three sixty - body music

The last 2 tunes don't really flow with the set, but they arn't supposed to. They are in there cos they are quite simply breathtaking tracks, and i wanted to finsish the CD on something slightly different to the rest of it

But thanks for the feedback anyway.

Nice one! I Dj under the name Paul Simon, keep an eye out on my site for any future mixes

I'm thinking of submitting that cd for the Global Dj broadcast Dj comp, with just the first 10 tracks on it after ur comments on it.. already been told by Markus's wife that it would be ok ( and just happens to be the correct time as well )

man, it feels like ages since i heard "the revolution will not be televised".

very risky coming out of track 3 into fluke but you turned it out well, they are just so far apart musically and across the genre age wise. very cool.
