Alright I'm pissed off...So I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for the TIesto in concert DVD, and finally the day has come, so I go to HMV, and guess what "Oh sorry we don't have it yet..."
What kinda busshit is this, there hasn't been 1 time yet EVER when I went to get something (Import) that was supposed to be released on a certain day and it was actually there...WHY WHY WHY...and you know what excuse they gave me...It must be the weather...THE WEATHER??? We live in Toronto, not in some North West Territories (No offence to anyone there) even if the weather is shit, it's not an excuse, this is the biggest city in Canada, and Canada's business capital...I'm pissed off and outraged...Why make a so-called "release date" when this date can never seem to be achieved???? I'm mad...SO THERE

It's in my shopping cart on Amazon.ca.

Well of course he does, but you see that's not an excuse, and it's not even the driver's fault...just bad logistics. Even if it is bad weather...what about all those other times? Too hot? Too windy? The problem that I have with them is that none of the release dates have been met...I should be used to it by now, knowing that a release date of an import is just an "approximation"...

Is that the release day set by Tiesto? or HMV?
Release dates with imports have almost NEVER been on time since the 80s...no big surprise here...

It's probably set by Tiesto's management.
What and how distributors do with it after that is not their business.

But that's the thing...I didn't want to download it...I wanted to wait patiently and get it when it came out.
As to the previous question, I'm not 100% sure who's "release date" it was, Tiesto's mgmt or HMV (Amazon that is now with HMV has the release dates on their site) but like I said before HMV have never released any Impors on time, and like been mentioned above...no big surprise...
Import usually means that it is special order around these parts, or limited release, so the international release dates never mean a thing in regards to local sales.
If they were promising a CDN street date, then ya, be pissed, but most of the damn province didn't even leave their homes today, so bitching about a DVD release is a little stupid.
Ever hear of calling ahead?
