Ambient sound effects are cool!

But sounds very empty and kinda primative. Very mellow synths, not a lot of high frequency.

Better Bass Drum and hi-hat samples would help a tonne!

Excellent FX work tho.

Lead change is extremely weird, but once it gets in to it sounds quite gud.

Bass Drum is too weak again, tho nice acid synth hovering around in the background.

I can really imagine this being on a lisa lashes set (if it was hardened up)

Any chance of the midis. Got gr8 ideas for this one.

Thak you very much for the tips.

I am changinig the bass and the hi-hat samples right now.

What would you recommend for a transfer between the break and the lead? I've tried a lot of stuff but I'm stumped.

And what would you recommend for atmosphere or something else to fill it up?

And what might you recommend for the lead to harden it up a little?

I will post a MIDI when I am completed. SO today or tomorrow.

For the change, I would probably suggest a long sustained note on the pad playing, with some sort of short 1-bar riff of some sort (try and develop something that you have used elsewhere in the track i.e. notes used, patterns etc). Thats what I do anyway.

A lot of people on TA had advised me to add percussion to thicken my mix up, which can help, but I think on this occasion, you need a couple of sub melodys. Play about with your keyboard/piano roll with a loop of your track playing. Really helps me. When you get an idea, whack it down on the piano roll (no midi keyboard at the moment, but very soon, very very excited).

I just feel the lead needs to be hitting some higher frequencies, with maybe a tride-cordal stacatto rhythm. Might be confusing you there, but its basically an arp of three notes going to a particular rhythm, staccato rhythm

Hope Im helping...

Tho, these are just what I'd do.

Always try different stuff, try to make your own sound. Thats what I'm trying to do.
