Epic new track **updated version online** i need some help...

www.soundclick.com/subconsciousuk

check out my new track, Mountain Range, and let me know what you think. if you want to do a remix, drop me an email at [email protected], then if it gets signed, your remix could be released too its going off to dozens of the best trance labels as soon as the copywright registration is complete. anyway, thanks in advance, enjoy the track

edit: made a few changes, but my sound system is screwed up and so its hard to get the eq right. just need to know if some frequency range is too loud or quiet, thanks.

The first part of it was kind of boring, but it has a nice atmosphere. It became better after a while but I think the percussion could use a little mastering. At least in my opinion. Nice tune

I enjoyed the synth work with that saw wave that you've kinda turned into an acid line, but I felt the intro coulda been longer and more could have happened before the breakdown.

Really nice strings and progression in the breakdown, nice and unique.

Now the strings are lasting a bit too long I think, play the whole progression only once before having the synths come in.

When the synth comes in, I don't like it as much. Im not generally a fan of saw arpeggios, though I do make exceptions. The synth sounds kind of dull though, like it needs more resonance. Also, it seems more could be going on soundwise with the song.

The whole mix is generally in need of brightening up, the dullness kind of makes it sound flat.

Keep working on it, it has a lot of potential.

Melody in the beginning is a little funny (weird) - but the synth you used sounds really good.. I don't really think it's boring at all, it's layered very well..

nice strings at 1:30, pretty melody, but they would benifit from a bit from a little less mid to low bass and a little more treble.. nice lead up with the arp synth..

"but it was 3 hours of HARD work" - not to damn bad for 3 hours.. I've done tracks that took months - overall, a very good track.. one of the better ones I've heard on here from an unsigned artist.

OMG! The first 85 sec is good, but not that good. But after it, from about 1:50... OOOOOOHHHHHH... I closed my eyes and couldn't hold back my tears of pure joy ('till about 5:10). This track is a good example of what I like in melodic trance.
Thanks for it! I can't buy better melodic trance in the record store these days.
Now going back to the site and dl your other tracks.

thanks, i'm glad you liked it so much! i have a new version of it ready to upload but soundclick is playing up so i'll try again in the morning. my sound system is screwed up so i'm having trouble mastering because it sounds like crap. theres an annoying buzz from one speaker, and some frequencies seem to be missing... yeah i know, i need a new system
