Me and Danny (24K) run Friday nights there, and it's a blend of Progressive, Trance and Techno (more so these days than ever before). The styles you hear are usually very AvB, PvD, Tiesto influenced.
Tonight we've got Preach in from Montreal, dude is SICK. He'll be dropping a killer Techno and Tech Trance set from 12:00 - 02:00, I'll be opening for him with techy proggy trancey stuff. As to get there by car from Vancouver, it's really easy. Head South on Oak Street and head over the Oak St. Bridge. Take the first exit to your right, and head down that street until you hit No. 3 Rd. (the 3rd light you'll get to). Make a left on 3 road and go down about 3-4 blocks until you get to Cambie Road. Viva is right at the corner of Cambie and 3 Road, can't miss the neon sign. Make a right on Cambie Rd. and your first left into the parking lot.
