Drum Machines?

Are all drum machines very expensive? ive seen some for 6000, although it was very cool are they realy worth it?

I think a drum machine is pretty much the most useless device nowadays, software is far more flexible and cheaper in that are.

In my opinion of course. I haven't really tried a real drum machine so I can't be sure.

I disagree! Incredibly useful mix tool if used correctly...bearing in mind we are in the DJ forum!

Yes, true, it depends entirely on what you're going to do with it. I imagine using a drum machine would give a neat bonus to a live gig.
