I don't buy cds too often... but I did get watermusicrecords' This Is Trance! cd.

What do you all think? Was it worth the $14? The songs I've heard of before include tracks 4,6,and 17. The rest was new to me(even though I've heard of the artists and some of their other works before).

To be honest, it doesn't seem like a bad CD. I mean there are compilations out there that are horribly worse and way more mainstream. However, I suggest to stick to specific DJ Compilations like Tiesto's Magik series and In Search of Sunrise series. Take a look at Armin van Buuren's 00_ series. The Euphoria series has some good stuff as well if you're starting out with trance. Good luck, but to answer your main question, what you bought is not a bad CD

These seem to be the better tracks of the CD. Vimana being a classic And maybe Into the Night, the original mix made a big impact in clubs worldwide.

ah the cd dont look too bad... and for $15 you cant go wrong compared to the $30 youd end up paying for a tiesto cd... but if yer looking for a good cd thats cheep get the "a trip into trance" series...

Those Trip Into Trance cds look promising... I recognize about 80% of the tunes off both 1st cds. Is it just me or are the songs off the 2nd cds on both sets a little too unknown?

I went to the record store today to pick up a new CD. I saw the THIS IS TRANCE! CD, chuckled, and picked up Crystal Method's new album "Legion of Boom." It's not bad

Yeah, I picked up Legion of Boom when it just came out. It was only $9!!! I HAD to get it then!
