The 'new' man

ok so we all know about the metrosexual man. I dont claim to be one at all, but I (and pinkphantasm) saw a guy who was wearing a skirt (it was long), now he was a hippy but thats beside the point.

Do you think its ok for guys to wear skirts, sarongs and the like?
I dont mean mini skirts, but like shin length, maybe with pants or shorts underneath it.

good look?
bad look?
still too feminine?

i think this whole metrosexual thing is complete bullshit. it's just another device that women are using to try and control guys.

for more information, read this guy's views on the subject:

A kilt is one thing. It is traditional and has familiy heritage. But a skirt? No way. Sure it would be funny but why the hell to men want to dress like women anyway?

Rupert did it (pirate looking guy from survivor) and nobody questioned his masculinity.
Why would this be any different?
ps I hate kilts, they always itch.
why do they always end up being made of wool?

He was on an island. He had no change of clothes. I really don't think if he had the choice he would pick a skirt.

Kilts are OK (see jestens post) but ANYTHING ELSE that resembles a skirt/dress = you gonna get a 2 liter of pimp slap dumped on you.

I beg to differ. Lumps' article is misogynistic and fuckin' pointless.

Maddox owns you all.

I think it depends on the guy, look at the bass guitarist from Red hot chilli peppers, people think of him as a pretty cool guy
