[Progressive Trance]Vital - Tricking Me

Ok, another track by me.

I started this track a few weeks ago, I got the inspiration while listening to Kelis - Trick Me. That also explains the title. Not completely satisfied with it yet, still needs some work, but I can't exactly put my finger on it. Hope some of you might be able to help me.

Vital - Tricking Me

Style is progressive trance, "james-holdenish".

Enjoy, I hope...

You've got some great sounds and atmosphere going. The only problem is the bassline is offkey.

Maybe add some strings as well to thicken up the mix.

bleh, you faded in and out you bastard

fuck i love the percs on this

nice atmosphere i really like it, the voices and such. not so keen in the scratching sound.

don't quite like the main lead as much, but it's not bad

the bassline only seems to sound bad with the main lead, in the start it sounds nice to my ears

overall it's a very solid track, crystal clear, very professional. keep up the good work!

The percussions are fucking awesome, I love those drum hit kinda things you have in there, mint.

As State of Matter said the bassline sounds off key, so I'd definitely change that. Otherwise I think this is really cool, very nice feel to it and shows how far your productions have come in the past couple months. Great job, keep it up.

Yeah, I've had another look at the bassline and changed it. Couldn't hear it being off-key on my speakers, but I did hear it on others.

Thanks for the reply's guys, really appreciate it!

It feels kind of soft when you listen to it, I must agree that some strings could make it a little better depending on how you use them.

It's not my kind of music at all, but it feels kind of right when you listen to it. Nice

yeah, it was meant to be a little softer than other stuff, guess that worked out quite well.
I have added some strings, I'll post the final version here when it is finished.

really nice percussion,a little bit to monotonic, the break could be a little bit more energetic, like putting strings in, fade the melody in or something like that
