z103.5 proposal
so anyone in Southern Ontario have heared of z103.5 and their programing. I am not aware of how many listeners but i'm aware that the number of listeners is dropping. Not as many listeners as the early amd mid 90s but i'm sure mainly because there was some decent competition back then. I wasn't as attatched to the scene as i am now so i really don't know about many factors that affected such competition. I do remember Energy108 though.
This idea came to me while reading the last set of flamewars over z103 and Tony Monaco (sp). It's nice to sit there and flame a station that's falling under due to programing problems and bitch about them not playing our favourite tracks. Also i've been listening to party 93.1FM in miami and even though the programing is somewhat commercial, they still have more than decent programing. So here is an idea that poped in my head:
WHY can't we put together a group of DJs and propose some EDM shows to 103.5 for a quarter? i'm sure they're getting realy desperate and even though i don't know how desperate they are, they MIGHT just MIGHT accept this proposal. Ginos are happy, we're happy.
I'm not the best at proposals or plans but we could use 93.1 as an example and Global DJ Broadcast's success and Markus Schulz as an example.
This is just an idea, feel free to critisize, flame or praise this.
