I don't think it's really necessary.... extra junk that I don't care about... personally I don't care if someone is 18 or 30 as long as they have a brain.

Why mentioning an Age or Gender? I agree with Swamper; it's not important. As long as you have brains it would be OK I think

male/female? hmmmm...

I think adding gender in the profile section is a great idea, I often wonder if it is male/female posting a reply! I know your busy Swamper, so this is not a big deal, I just think it would be a cool addition! :P

PS. Like the new DJ ZONE forum, I bought my first vinyl this weekend (yipeee :-D) I have many questions!!!!
