Mixer suggestions for > $300?

I'd like one that lets me cue completely in the headphones, since I plan on throwing a lot of my own parties with it and would like to save my ears by monitoring with both cups whenever possible.

I could go a bit higher on the price if theres something thats really worth it.

If your looking for one above $300, I don't know why the vmx-300 would be recommended... Does the pcv-275 have split cue options ?

EDIT: I have the Stanton sk 2f, and it has a seperate crossfader for the headphones, makes it really nice, as you can go back and forth between the channels.

The PCV 275 is ok if thats your budget. When it comes to mixers its better to save up and buy a great one rather than a pos Behringer or something else along those lines, you'll just get fed up with it and upgrade anyways. I personally would go with a Rane mixer or A & H. Its worth it. I have the Rane Empath and its very nice for home/small venue use.

Yesssss another Rane Empath owner...
Seriously at around 300... i guess USD? Maybe one of those feature-packed behringer's a hear about...... its basically a djm-600 knockoff. From what I hear, effects aren't as good but it's definately a bargain... the djx700. Also the vmx300 from behringer is a solid mixer. However, remember that Behringer is a company that doesn't make mixers to "last" you like its rivals. Usually its feature-packed and after 1-3 years you will end up wanting it upgraded. For while it lasts, however, its definately has some merits. Plus the PCV-180 from vestax is worth looking into, otherwise the pcv-275 which is nearly the same thing just an older model. These are good solid mixers from peep's testimonials. Obviously, the highest you can go for a home setup would probably be an allen and heath xone mixer used straight up for medium-larger clubs. The djm-600 from pioneer is used alot in american clubs. However these are above the price range. The Rane Empath, in my opinion, if price isn't an issue, is one of the best all-round mixers. It gives you the ability to use it as a scratch, be transitional... or whatever you want. Stanton also makes cheaper mixers like this but Rane is definately hard to top in that category .
