ok I have a question about IE, i cant believe im asking this considering i want to start my own web design business soon. But anyway i have a download helper thing[that Reg or something other from the new track download place on TA] but i want to switch back to the IE download application. How do i do this? The uninstaller on the Reg thing is corrupted.

just kidding i'll help.
so what you're sayin' is you uninstalled the download helper but it still downloads in something else???
Coz if you wanted to keep the other download program... i'm pretty sure theres no way to switch back.
Its like an internal file association.
hopefully somebody who knows what they are talking about will reply to you
hopefully

try and download a new version of ie that might rewrite the settings you have or maybe just delete the folder of the helper program you have.

Get a Reg Cleaner or similar type software to try and delete it from your registry. You can also delete all Internet Explorer entries and folders in your registry, but have an IE full installation handy when you do so, so you can restore some version of IE. Using a Windows restore function at bootup from your Windows disk would work as well. Go to MS site after a new IE installation and then upgrade to new IE 6 version.
