As one of Yoshitoshi's most dynamic artists, DESYN MASIELLO has already released edits of Blondie’s “Rapture” and “West London Deep”, 2003 saw the sinister remix of “Psycho Ex-Girlfriend”, “Feel The Rush” and “Keep it real” (Both featured on Danny Howells 24:7); “Solar Plexus” and Brother Brown’s “King’s of Tomorrow” (Both featured on Deep Dish’s GU 025).
This Spring, 2004, Desyn has the remix of “Loud East/Luzon”, Brother Brown’s “King’s of Tomorrow” coming out on Yoshitoshi, as well as two remixes of “Sharpside“, by Belgian Resistance on Renaissance. “Dogman” and “Soundz” by The Idiots are coming out on SEXONWAX (Desyn and 16B’s label) later this year.
As well as running his label SEXONWAX, Desyn also owns and runs the hugely successful “Alternative Route Recordings”. With releases featuring ‘KC Flightt ‘Voices’, the label is being recognized for its diverse range of tracks like “Ride” by Chable & Bonnici, “Seduction” Funktion; Paul Hamill’s “Access Psycatron” and “Electric Mistress” Guy Gerber. Other releases on Alternative Route have included tracks from producers, PMT, Creamer & K and DJ Vibe, “Wish You Were Here”. The success of these tracks On Alternative Route are testament to Desyn’s A&R ability to unearth superb originals, both new and old.
