Review: one of van's BEST PARTIES!!! Infected Mushroom

That was, without a single shadow of doubt, one of the best fucking parties i have ever been to in my life...actually, i think it was THE best i've ever been to, save for Max Graham @ Aria.
IM and the opening DJs absolutely fucking ROCKED the Plaza, nailing some of the most amazing psy i've heard in recent memory...the crowd was great, very friendly and hard partiers with some weird costumes it was my first time at the plaza, very nice club. good lights and sickass sound system, with plenty of space to dance.. but Infected Mushroom...holy shit...they had that entire place by the balls. I don't ordinarily listen to a whole lot of psy, so I didn't recognize any of the tunes they were playing. the music was so fuckin good that dancing as hard as i could was pretty much a reflex. those of you who weren't there should consider yourselves incredibly unlucky because that's probably going to go down in history as one of the best nights of 2004.

My only complaint is that the music got a little bit repeatitive, hehe not that that was a bad thing. I thought the opening djs were quite good as well, the first guy was on fire. The second dj seemed to have trouble with several mixes, but the crowd didn't seem to notice hehe. Infected Mushroom... WOW These guys were awesome! Me and Tijl were blown away when they dropped down some agressive psy/goa breaks in the middle of thier set! How cool was that. All in all it was a great night, ended up leaving just after 1am and the place was still rocking. Nice to see Sean H and Shadowmaster out for this

fuck were they ever sick in the kool haus!!! and they were on my flight on the way back to calgary, sitting right in front of me, scary dudes man, everyone thought they ere terrorists cuz they were arguing so loud in some isreali language, it was funny, but that bald guy looked like he wanted to kill everyone. j_spot im surprised in did'nt run into you.

This was the best party of 2004 for me!
I’ve came to the club at around 9:30 because I was told that there is a huge lineup, and getting into the club may be time consuming. Luckily, my friends were already waiting not far from the entrance. Thus, after 10 minutes of waiting in the line I was inside the club.
My first impression of The Plaza Club was a good one. The club looked big and all the people were friendly. The people that came to the event were there for the music. Ravers were representing for the most part. What I liked the most about the atmosphere was that there were few people smoking, which made it easier to breathe. The lasers at the club were kinda kewl too .
All the DJs played superb sets, but Infected Musrhoom have stole the show for me. They’ve destroyed me completely. This is not the first time I heard them live though. I’ve heard them live in Toronto at the Guvernment, at an event called the Labour of Love. I can say that their set at The Plaza was amazing compared to their set at the Guvernment in 2002.
IM’s live PA was simply said, mind blowing! I was dancing all night. The duo brought soo much energy to the dance floor with their Israeli psy, that hardly anyone left the dance floor for piss breaks . The dance floor was packed! But there was room to dance .
The party was amazing. I’m really glad that I went to this event, even though I had to wake up to go to work at 8:00am on Monday.
A big thanx goes to the organizers for make this events possible! Props to everyone that showed up to this event and suppored electronic music
