Evil1 Uncheck AIM Expressions

Alright,
I'm using AIM 5.2.3292 and have AIM Expressions set to default. I tried deleting the default one but AIM doesn't let you.
Now, for some reason when I IM people, its shows the hearts expression. This is only with ppl that have the new version of AIM.
How can I turn that option off, I tried everything and it still shows those stupid hearts
