I will be in Belgium next summer and I was wondering how difficult it is to travel to the UK because I'd like to go to gatecrasher at least ONCE, if not more, while I'm in Belgium. Do you take a plane or a ferry or what? And is it expensive?
I'm sorry...never been to Europe before so I may sound sorta stupid asking all this!

Being realistic you'd want to fly. If you were on a budget you could in theory travel through europe by train or coach and the get the Eurostar through the tunnel to England, but I doubt you'd save much (if anything) and it would take forever. So flying is your best bet. Expect to pay no less than £150 with a budget airline, flight time 1-2 hours (depending where in the UK you'll be landing).

you could also go with the train to Calais and then with the train to the UK, but I think that flying would be cheaper (and faster) then going with the Train
