What's impressive is that before campaigning for the issues, they were immensely unpopular. He was able to turn that around and get both of his propositions to pass. As far as the other issues, if you think rectifying the financial problems of California will be a painless evndeavour, I think you have another thing coming. Arnold did what he had to do to get elected, and now he is going to have to do what he needs to do to solve California's financial problems. I'm glad, for your state, that he has the balls and the backing to do that. Davis didn't. | That's not impressive, OMG HE USED HIS POPULARTITY Seriously you don't know Cali or the fact that all the ads on tv were pro-57 including one from Diane Feinstein which made a bunch of Dem sheep vote in favor of it.
I don't think fixing our financial problems is a walk in the park and I am all for program cuts and even a temp tax raise, thats why I said I wish Tom McKlintock would of won instead of Arnold. Why did a little over half the state even vote for Prop 55, 12 billion more in bonds? Guess Bush as a role model is setting in
Also, in my opnion just like after Reagan took Governors seat, our education is going to fall even more thanks to Arnold.
