Ah-nold pretty impressive...

Well, I have to admit, Arnold looked pretty impressive passing both initiatives that he had campaigned for in order to help an ailing California. I really didn't think a Republican governor would be able to persuade such drastic action in such a liberal state, but Arnold has. Something drastic had to be done, and it looks like it will happen. I realize there's a big bullet to swallow in California in order to turn the ship around, but it looks like he might have just been able to do it. I was wondering if we have any Californians that might have any comments on your governor and what you think the economic outlook of your state is. Go terminator.

That was impressive? Yeah Arnold did the same thing that Gray Davis proposed before he got re-called, but instead of borrowing 15 like Arnold, it was only 12 Still a bad idea, don't care who supported it. I voted no on every proposition.

You would think the Republicans would of been against prop 57 like Tom McKlintock (now I really wish he would of won), especially when Diane Feinstein was in support of it.

Like I said in a previous thread, there isnt a left or right anymore.

While I didn't vote for Arnold or the Democrat candidate, voted for Green party Peter Camejo, only one besides Republican Tom McKlintock who actually had a good ideas (so much for me being a leftie LOL). Arnold is doing a shitty job and only kept one of his promises, which was lowering the car registration fee. All the other promises he has broken, including raising education fees and not finding the billions in waste as he said he would. He doesnt even listen to one of his economic advisors, the second richest man in the world, about raising taxes or axing prop 13

Yes Go TERMINATOR, you're doing such a good job terminating this state even more...

What's impressive is that before campaigning for the issues, they were immensely unpopular. He was able to turn that around and get both of his propositions to pass. As far as the other issues, if you think rectifying the financial problems of California will be a painless evndeavour, I think you have another thing coming. Arnold did what he had to do to get elected, and now he is going to have to do what he needs to do to solve California's financial problems. I'm glad, for your state, that he has the balls and the backing to do that. Davis didn't.

That's not impressive, OMG HE USED HIS POPULARTITY Seriously you don't know Cali or the fact that all the ads on tv were pro-57 including one from Diane Feinstein which made a bunch of Dem sheep vote in favor of it.

I don't think fixing our financial problems is a walk in the park and I am all for program cuts and even a temp tax raise, thats why I said I wish Tom McKlintock would of won instead of Arnold. Why did a little over half the state even vote for Prop 55, 12 billion more in bonds? Guess Bush as a role model is setting in

Also, in my opnion just like after Reagan took Governors seat, our education is going to fall even more thanks to Arnold.
