Sounds good! I'm trying to create that sound too, but I don't have a virus like you. All I got is my softsynths...

use saw waves and a band pass filter. At least that's what it sounds like. I don't have a Virus A, so I don't know what features it has, only got the C.
It sounds like there might be some intricate work in the filter envelope as well, namely the decay and sustain to get the filter to fade away towards the end of the note.
