Question Cubase MIDI recording problem(?)

here is the problem:

When I record the MIDI`s I play in Cubase SX 2.0.. it does get recorded.. but I need to go way forward in the track to find what I just recorded... the notes I play doesn`t appear where I played them..

It has worked before..

AMD XP 3200+
512 RAM
Nvidia: 20 milliseconds latency
Edirol PCR - 50 Midi Controller

any ideas please?

Well, Cubase 2.0 is very buggy...I went back to using 1.06 because of that. Are you placing the marker all the way to the left corner when you record?

Mega Latency?
You got that midi delay thing on? Looks like a watch under pan and volume.

No the MIDI latency is zero.. it doesn`` t matter where I put the markers..
